Trauma

Trauma therapy is my specialty. I have specific training to treat trauma so that you can move forward with your life and leave the past behind.

Trauma is any experience that lies outside of your normally integrated life experiences. You may think that trauma has to be something dramatic or big or be collectively/socially agreed upon. Unfortunately, we all have traumas that affect us all the time. They could be influencing you a little bit or a lot a bit. You may have written off an experience as no big deal when, in fact, it affects you every day.

EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is my go-to deep dive therapy for addressing trauma. We access your subconscious mind and learn to listen to your body as it tells us what needs addressed in your conscious experience.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy is an approach where we learn about your past and figure out what is influencing your present behavior. This is talk-based therapy that relies on client self-awareness and connecting dots from the past to the present. We analyze your present and past to determine what is driving you and what you can learn to let go of.
